Never GTM Alone
Last updated: January 2026
Our Foundation
This community is built on trust, generosity, and mutual respect. We're creating a peer-only space where technology partner marketers can share openly, learn from each other, and grow together—without fear of judgment, spam, or hidden agendas.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
Never GTM Alone welcomes members regardless of experience level, company size, background, or identity. We believe diverse perspectives make us all better marketers. What unites us is our shared commitment to advancing the partner marketing craft.
Five Simple Rules
1. Share Wins, Not Pitches
We expect: Members celebrating achievements, sharing events they're part of, and adding genuine value to conversations.
We welcome:
Sharing awards, speaking engagements, or career milestones
Promoting webinars, podcasts, or events you're participating in
Linking to content you created when it genuinely helps the discussion
We don't allow:
Unsolicited sales pitches, product demos, or "let me show you my tool"
Recruiting or job solicitations outside designated channels
Repeated self-promotion without engaging in other conversations
Asking for "feedback" as a disguised pitch
The line: "I'm speaking at this webinar on MDF attribution — would love to see some of you there!" is welcome. "My company built a tool that solves MDF attribution — want a demo?" is not.
2. Lead with Kindness
We expect: Supportive, constructive interactions—even when you disagree.
We welcome:
Constructive disagreement that focuses on ideas, not people
Asking clarifying questions before jumping to conclusions
Sharing your own struggles and lessons learned
Offering help, introductions, or resources to peers
We don't allow:
Personal attacks, harassment, or bullying
Dismissive or condescending responses
Discrimination based on any personal characteristic
Sharing others' struggles outside the community
Remember: We're all figuring this out together. Vulnerability takes courage. Honor that by responding with empathy.
3. Keep It Relevant
We expect: Thoughtful contributions in appropriate channels.
We welcome:
Starting threads for detailed or tangential discussions
Asking a moderator where something belongs if you're unsure
Sharing off-topic wins in #random or designated social channels
Cross-posting sparingly when genuinely relevant to multiple channels
Please:
Use threads to keep discussions organized
Post in the right channel (check channel descriptions)
Keep discussions focused on partner marketing and related career topics
Why this matters: Organized conversations stay valuable and searchable for all members.
4. Respect Confidentiality
We expect: Members to treat this as a trusted, private space.
We welcome:
Sharing general learnings externally without naming members or companies
Asking permission before quoting or screenshotting
Referencing discussions vaguely ("someone in the community mentioned...")
Celebrating members publicly when they give explicit permission
Our defaults:
What's shared here stays here unless explicit permission is given
Don't screenshot or share conversations externally
Don't share specific details about members' companies, strategies, or challenges outside this community
Respect that some members may not want their participation publicized
PartnerVista may spotlight community moments or members (with permission), but this space is closed by default.
5. Invite Intentionally
We expect: Members to help us grow thoughtfully.
We welcome:
Recommending the community to peers you respect and trust
Sharing the application link on LinkedIn or in relevant conversations
Vouching for colleagues you've worked with directly
Giving invitees a heads-up on what makes this community special
When inviting others:
Share the member application form (don't add people directly)
Invite people who will contribute, not just consume
Brief your invitee on community norms before they join
This is a community built with purpose, not just scale.
Direct Message Etiquette
While DMs are available, we encourage public conversations when possible—they help everyone learn.
When using DMs:
Don't cold-pitch members or request their professional profiles
Don't continue conversations in DM if someone asks you to stop
Don't share DM content without permission
Do use DMs for genuinely private matters or sensitive questions

We take these guidelines seriously because they protect what makes this community valuable.
